Before co-founding South View, Carlos was CMO and board member of the #1 luxury and premium brands retailer in Latin America, El Palacio de Hierro.
He led its strategic turnaround, strengthening its commercial offering through key partnerships with international fashion, lifestyle, food & beverage brands, building a robust instore experience and launching its 60,000 sqm flagship store.
During his 12 years at the firm, he grew the brand rapidly and positioned it as a leader in the category through relevant, consistent, inspiring content and campaigns such as the iconic “Soy Totalmente Palacio”. With additional scope in his role as head of creative and design, he also led international architectural firms for all new projects, being particularly intuitive and passionate about the fields of architecture, digital and interior design.
Carlos also brings over 20 years of experience in Europe and the Americas for L’Oréal and LVMH group. He has developed brands such as Louis Vuitton, Guerlain, Paloma Picasso, Ralph Lauren or Giorgio Armani across several regions. He has an uncanny ability to recruit and build effective teams by inspiring and guiding them with his strategic vision, generosity and creative approach.
Before co-founding South View Studio, Françoise led Tesla’s expansion in Latin America and South East United States in her role as GM.
From strategy to sales, policy, operations and communications, she managed the building blocks of the business introducing Model X, Model 3 and energy products in her markets.
Françoise also brings over 25 years of experience scaling businesses and developing brands across the technology, automotive, energy, cosmetics, retail sectors. She has operated strategically and effectively in her international roles at L’Oréal, Louis Vuitton, Walmart and Palacio de Hierro.
Françoise is a Business graduate of McGill University and holds a Master’s Degree in Statistics from HEC.
She is an advisor to AT&T, CIBANCO (Green Bank), Troquer (Resale Marketplace), Secure Witness, What Design Can Do (Ikea Foundation).
Prior to co-founding South view studio, Nacho was Creative Coach & Director for Teran/TBWA for over 10 years, focusing on premium brands such as El Palacio de Hierro, Brown Forman & Infiniti.
At Z Group, founded by Alejandro G. Iñárritu & Raúl Olvera, he led communication, branding & content strategy in his role as Creative Director for 10 years for clients such as Coca-Cola, VW, Bacardi amongst others.
Graphic and movie poster designer (“Como Agua para Chocolate”, “Abre los Ojos”, “Amores Perros”, “La Dictadura Perfecta”), he is a true passionate storyteller across the film, entertainment and retail industries.
